MEC passive pickups in Warwick

Sign in to disble this ad
I am in the process of buying a Warwick Corvette with passive MEC pickups. These are the stock pickups in many Warwicks. Was wondering how these stack up to other passive pickups (Dimarzio, Seymour-Duncan Basslines, Bartolini)

They're Jazz Style pickups.

The mecc jazz pups in the passive basses hum more then any other J pup I know of. Sound is ok, but Dimarzio and seymour both sound better to me.
