MEC pickup question

Does anyone know if the covers are removable I want to put wood pickup covers on my Warwick but I dont know if I can because of the pickup covers.

I do not think you can remove the cover. As I recall with my Corvette, it was encased and sealed.

The JJ ones on my Thumb were also sealed.

I don't think you can remove them. I swap my pickup out on my corvette and the MEC i took out is all seal
