MEC pickups and pre

Sign in to disble this ad
i have an old warwick fortress from 96 in a p/j configuration. i absolutely hate active pickups and don't care much for their pre. i'm going to have my tech remove all of the electronics including the pickups, pre and pots (i guess). they are well worn but work great. i've sold and bought a lot of effects on the board but i don't know a ton about active electronics.

i have no idea what to sell these for and i definately don't want to use ebay. does anyone have an idea what they're worth? is there even a demand for mec pickups and electronics here at TB?

also, what passive pickups work well in warwicks. i'm more of a fender jazz style guy, and i've loved frailins, aero's, etc in the past.

I'm been looking for a 3 band pre for my Thumb so i search the classifieds pretty often and very rarely see any mec stuff on there mostly just corvette pups and they seem to sell pretty cheap.Sorry if that wasn't much help
Also a lot of people seem to like the SD basslines
