| MIA 62 RI Jazz pickups questions

Just picked up a 15 year old Fender 62 RI stack knob jazz. I'm very familiar with precision basses, not with jazz basses. Here's my questions:
The overall output of this 62 RI jazz is less than my MIA precision. Is this normal for a jazz? And... the "A" and "D" strings are equally less in volume than both the "E" and "G" strings. Is this normal for a jazz?
I'm trying to understand if there's a tech issue I need to address with this instrument. I love the neck... not crazy about the sound. |
