I'm looking at a pickup on ebay described as "2008 Fender American Standard Precision Bass Alnico V Split Single Coil Pickup". Does anyone know if this would be the same as the Original '62? Or the same as the Original Precisions Pickup listed on Fender's site? That one and the '62 have the same specs, but the one on Fender's site looks like it has beveled pole pieces, while the '62 and the one on ebay don't. Are these all the same thing, or are they somehow different? This is so confusing! |
