Mid 70's bass, 60's vintage pu's?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a mid 70's fender JB with dead pu's. The obvious replacement would be Fender or some other 70's wound pickup. However, I have a set of nordy nj4's. Are there any sound issues using them due to the difference in 70's bride pup position versus 60's pup positioning?

Thanks

The obvious replacement is to have the dead pickups rewound.
