Mike Lull pickups opinions/advice needed

Okay so as some of you may have read in a previous post I have been looking at a Sadowsky MV5 and a Lull M5V.

My opinion is that I like the feel of the Lull but the sound of the Sadowsky.

I also dislike the hum from the single coil Pups on the Lull when each is soloed.

What do you guys think about a pickup swap for the Lull, perhaps a stacked coil design that would be quiet and perhaps a little more Sadowsky sounding?

FYI, the Lull sports an Aguilar OPB-3 preamp and Duncans (I think). I believe the Aggie pre is a more modern sounding setup, I'm guessing it's the single coil pups that are mostly responsible for the traditional sound.

I don't want to detract from the mission of the builder, I know Mike gets a lot of respect here and it is well deserved. Just aiming for perfection!
