MIM bass Hardwired in Series

I've been pretty disappointed in the sound of my MIM J-bass. -Kinda thin and no guts, no matter what pickup configuration I tried. I didn't want to spend big bucks on pickups for such an inexpensive bass.

So I changed the wiring to series. No switch, just rewired it so the pickups are hum-cancelling each other and the neck pot is the only volume control.

It only has one basic sound, but it's a nice sound. More throaty, a bit louder, and more of that P-bass bite. Big improvement, no cost.
