Question MIM Deluxe Active Jazz series/parallel

I was looking at one of these the other day and I saw that the volume pot was on a circuit board. I was wondering if any of you guys had any ideas on or experience with series parallel switching one one of these. Ive been thinkin about springin on a used one for awhile, but if series parallel isn't possible or way too difficut with the current preamp, it might be a dealbreaker. These seem like a great value for the price (the older models with the Suhr designed pups). Hope somebody can help me out

How about an added toggle switch?
