MIM deluxe jazz controls

Apologies if there's already a thread on this. (Came up dry with a search.) Please point me to it, if so.

I just copped a 2001 MIM Deluxe Jazz (a pawnshop special, on eBay). I had a passive J-bass before, but not with the preamp--so I'm in the dark about the controls.

Identified the master volume and the blend pots--but I'm not sure what the middle two pots do, precisely. The lower is a stack pot, and all have detents.

I hit Mr. Gearhead to try to find the manual for the Deluxe, but it's just a generic for all the Fender guitars and basses.

I'm liking the sound of the thing, but I'd like it more if I had a clue about the tone controls. Any help much appreciated!
