MM-J pickup. Nordstrand or Seymour Duncan ?

I want to replace my MM-J pickup.
Now I consider Nordy or SD's MM-J.
I play metal and hard rock song.
Which is better?

BTW, what's different between Nordy MM5.2 and MM5.3.
If I go Nordy,which should I get?

The 5.3 has a dummy coil underneath just like the 4.3 does for switching on some EBMM basses. I don't think it's available anymore from Nordstrand.
