Might be a good idea to change the color of the grounding plate wire for people who are going to use the pickups in series or with something like an Audere preamp with a floating ground. I use green wires for non signal grounds.

Hi Dave,

I think the wiring is 100% clear to all "experts" / "regularly question answeres" here.

Maybe you know about my 400+ pages "wiring compendium"?
(pdf in German at the bottom: http://161589.homepagemodules.de/t29...-E-Baesse.html )
I think I will add an aguilar wiring to one of the the updates.

You might think about changing the colour of the grounding wire to make ist easyer - as many people nowadays change their J-wiring and add a series wiring. A grey or grey/black wiring for the shielding would be best (just a suggestion!!!).
As many PUs have bare wire or "coat" for shielding, the grey colour would implement the permanent shielding.

Shurely NO problem with two black wires for someone who has some background and has the PU in his hands. But with three different colours (and the word "shielding" in the drawing) it would be best.

JUST A SUGGESTION!

Best regards & thanx from Germany
Andreas

EDIT: SDG was faster than I was! But I have a longer text ...
