Need Bartolini Advice

Ok, Who's an expert on Bartolinis this forum???

I have a 95 Tobias Basic 5, swamp ash, and it sounds incredible. Bought it new in 96.

My wife bought me a EBMM Stingray 5 on our first Christmas, but to be honest, I don't like the way it sounds. I need to run it with the treble OFF, then it sounds too dull.

I want to put a Bart in it to get maybe a little closer to what I like. My Toby pickups say MT5C on the back. Obviously, they don't make anything that has MT in the nomenclature. Would the closest thing for me be a 72MV5C? The "C" meaning ORIGINAL SERIES with the LOW tone???? and is that what the 5C means on the Toby pickup?

There is also the MV5CBC, that is the "CLASSIC SERIES", but I don't know if that has the closest characteristics to the Toby.

Someone help. I need to return this Bart MMC, that is the wrong size and need to make sure I have the correct replacement.

Thanks
Steve
