New Darkstar?

Anyone of heard of this French luthier Roger Daguet? Looks like he is doing some cool stuff and he says he is going to be making a version of the Darkstar. Check it out: DAGUET GUITARES‎

I've actually ordered a pair for my next luthier-made hollowbody bass.
I'll keep you posted and do a review if you like.

they will got the same bobin, magnets and pole pieces as the bisonic and could be mounted on any guild or gibson without routing them, just change the pickup ring , the fender pickups are different so they'll need some modification on the body... more soon.

I have no first hand info, but I assume they would be the same size as a Darkstar, like the ones shown in the picture that Roger posted above. The Darkstar is not shaped at all like a P bass pickup.

Looks like Roger and I were typing at the same time!

BTW, Roger, the guy who first told me about you is Jeff Nolan, who is the curator of the Hard Rock Cafe's memorabilia collection. Do you know him?

Turns out Jeff knows one of your endorsers, Rem Villeneuve, so that's the connection.

The pickup looks amusingly enough like it belongs on a certain R... bass. In the bridge position.

It would be sick if you could have a DarkStar made in a J-Bass shape.
