new pick-ups

hi, i have a crap bass. (Ibanez SR190) and i want to change the pick-ups. is there a way to make my bass sound... good? i like my bass to sound smooth.. what pick-ups do you recommend? is it hard to change the pickups? thanks..

Yes it's easy. Your bass has a Precision pickup and they're easy to replace. Just a couple of wires to solder.
