noise when toughing strings/bridge/tone pot...

Title says it all. I'm getting a bad noise whenever I touch the strings, bridge, or tone pot. Volume pots are fine. Everything inside looks in order.
HALP?!

Sounds like your bridge is not grounded.

It was grounded. For some reason the solder connecting the tone pot to the input failed. S'all good.

sounds like the output jack might have been wired backwards, making all the metals parts "hot" and noisy to the touch.
