Exclamation noisy bass, help?!

Sign in to disble this ad
not sure if this is in the right forum as im not sure if my issue is bass, amp, or pickup related.

i installed a new gfs pro bass pickup in my p bass copy about yesterday, it was playing and sounding great, until today.

i started to play and it was alright, but whenever i stopped playing id hear a reasonable amount of hum or buzz coming from my cab. i checked the wiring and everything is wired right to ground and to the right pot.

any ideas why this happened/is happening?

i play a p bass copy out of a carvin pro bass 300 and a ev1x15

Swap the instrument cable, try a different bass.
