Noisy new cts pots

I have just fitted new cts pots to my jazz bass, like for like no deviation from the original wiring.
When I turn up the volume just before it hits the loudest point there is a crunch or bump this happens on both vol controls. Can anyone help?

Deoxit F5 Fader Lube , and a can of compressed air.

DOn't use any other deoxit, it'll destroy the resistive material on the disc.

Likely theres buffing powder in the pot.

Thanks for the advise.Got some Doexit and after a couple shots of compressed air,the pots sound great.
