noisy switch and pot

Sign in to disble this ad
I had a scratchy volume pot in my cort with bart mk1s and mk1 pre. the noise would go away if i rolled it back and forth a bit, but would come right back in 15 minutes. so I switched the volume pot out, and it's still a little scratchy. how is that possible ?
it's much better but still there. also the eq defeat switch pops when switched but only with the volume up.
so maybe it's the pre amp not the volume pot that's bad ?

can somebody help me, please ?
thanks,
matt
