Nordstrand 5 J set into Warwick LX PU holes

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking into upgrading my 97 warwick streamer LX 5'ers PU's to a set of Nordstrand hum cancelling jazz's or just the regular single coil kind, which ever I find the cheapest first!

I was wondering if the Nordstrands and the covers they come with will drop straight into the warwick or if there maybe some size differences that I'll have to work out?
Any help would greatly appreciated as I'm ready to throw those MEC's into the deepest pits of hell.
Cheers Rayle XoX

Man I wish Nordstrands would fit in 5 string Warwicks! I wanted to do the same thing with my Streamer Stage II and I emailed Nordstrand and they told me that don't make any pickups that will accomodate normal 5 string Warwick string spacing. Their p'ups may work for a 4 string Warwick but I'm not sure.

Perhaps if they get enough of us Warwick owners to request it they may change their mind, due to demand, and produce a pickup for us! Their contact info from their site is carey@nordstrandguitars.com and they got back to me pretty quickly.

They don't make them standard, but Nordstrand can custom make you whatever you want as far as spacing.
