Nordstrand Big Single vs. Basslines Soapbars

Sign in to disble this ad
I'e got a great bass that is a joy to play. Just one thing about it I don't like: The tone! Too scooped for me. It currently sports Basslines Soapbars and a Basslines three band pre in it.

From what I've read I'm assuming that the Nordie BS's will give me more of a "mid punch", if you will.

Will the BS's go with the Basslines pre? And will there be a big difference in tone if the switch is made (from the Basslines to the Nordie's)?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
