Nordstrand Big Splits vs. Dual Coils wired in parallel - how do they compare tonally?

Sign in to disble this ad
It looks like I'm trading my 4-string Big Singles for a set of Nordstrand Big Splits in my attempt to find the right pickups for my Ibanez BTB510E. If these don't work out I might try a set of Nordstrand Dual Coils wired in parallel so I can set them up for parallel/single coil/series wiring.

How would the Big Splits and Dual Coils (wired in parallel) compare tonally?
