Nordstrand Info Request

Hi. I did do a search, but did not find the exact information I was looking for, and I can't seem to track down the info on the Nordstrand site.

I will email them in the morning, but for now there is some other questions I havem if you would be so kind as to give me your input.


I am interested in purchasing a set of the Nordstrand DC 4 (Parallel) Pickups.

What I would just like to know is the following:

1. What is included in the package of this pickup set? (MOre of a question for Nordstrand and I will ask them too)

2. Can these pickups be wired without a pre-amp, i.e. a VVT or VTVT type setup?

3. If I do need a pre-amp of some sort, what would be a good one to use in conjunction with these pups? I would be looking for a 2 band EQ (Bass, Treble) with a Volume and Blend.


The bass they will be installed into is a fretless project I am working on. So if you could just keep that in mind when recommending a pre-amp.
