my bass is a '96 USA with a gold "50th anniversary" sticker on the back of the head stock, passive, vintage style Fender logo, string thru bridge, but no other model indicators.
from the measurements, looks like nj5fs will be too big, but the nj5s should fit.

They have a nice growly bridge pickup tone, a big full neck pickup tone and a huge deep earth shaking tone with both pickups on. They will definitely make your bass sound better! i emailed nordstrand a couple weeks ago and then resent a week ago. off for the holidays perhaps? i also email an ebay seller selling a set.
