Nordstrand MK1 Shape (44-01) Replacements?

Hey guys-

Does Nordstrand have a replacement pickup that fits the MK1 shape? (44-01) shape? I have seen lots of 55-01 replacement pics but not the 44-01. Thanks.

So far, the USA Bart Classic is the only exact MK1 (44-01) replacement I've seen (for sure).

bestbassgear.com posts measured sizes of the various pups, i bleeb.

The Nord DC5's were not a 'zact sized replacement in my 5501; they were a tad smaller.

I believe the only drop-in replacement for MK1 is Bartolini MK4.

However if you contact Brian at bestbassgear.com he'll give you a quote for any Nordstrand with custom covers that would fit your 44-01. Don't be put off by the word 'custom'; Brian and Nordstrand can make wonders at very reasonable prices. Usually, if the string spacing is standard, they won't charge any extras.
