Nordstrand MM5.4 or Bartolini MV5CBC

After giving it much thought I decided it was better for me to change the electronics on my stingray 5 fretless, then to sell the bass and get another one. I am going to get the aguilar obp-3 preamp with a 9v configuration, I could even have it change it to an 18v configuration if its worth, even thou I will have to route the bass for the extra battery. What I am still not sure is what pickup to get., I am stuck between these 2: Bartolini MV5CBC or Nordstrand MM5.4. I have always like Bartolini pickups, and this one might offer what I am looking for since they usually tend to have a low mid darker sound. What I dont like about it, is that it is only dual coil, so in single coil mode I will be hearing the disgusting hum. The Nordstrand seems also to be a nice pickup, and it has great reviews here, but it supposedly reproduces a vintage stingray, and I want to get rid of the nasal quality of the bass not make it more pronounce. I want more low mids, less clanky highs, and less nasal sound. Which one would you recommend me considering what I am looking for.

Thanks....

As soon as I have change the electronic I will post some sound clips comparing the before and after.
