Nordstrand NJ4 or Aguilar 4J-60 ???

I'm planning to get a new pickups for my 4 string jazz bass USA and keep it Passive... which one is better for you guys ? Is The NJ4 or The 4J-60 ? Please help me choose one...

You'd get more feedback if you said you bass was an MIM and is better than any MIA. Then ask your question.

I have used and like the Nordie. Lots of good choices out there. You won't believe this, but I'm a "passive guy" and I think the EMG JAX is easily the best jazz pickup I have tried.

Thanks for the correction wvbass...my bass is mia.
Wow that's something new for me, i've tried the JX Set and it don't impress me too much, but let me check out the JAX set... Thanks...

I tried both, the NJ4's have much more flavor and character. Warm, bump in the mids without an overly harsh high end. My favorite J pickup ever.

I gave the Aguilars a spin. They were similar to the Nordy's but without the flavorful bump in the mids. They were very "flat" I would say... almost boring flat IMO. They were warm, but no real "character" in the mids.

Just my opinion.
