Nordstrand NJ4SE Jazz Bass Pickup set

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone ever herd of Nordstrand NJ4SE Jazz bass pickups before? I was wondering if having them in my Jazz Bass would be a good investment or not. I have a $500 budget and am wondering if at $230 that these are worth it. If not, what are some other brands. My bass is passive

I put them in a VM squier along with a J retro preamp, I did them at the same time. One or both made this bass sound like a dream, so for about 530 you could actually do that.

I just got home from a gig where I used my fretless J with NJ4SE's. Great pickups. They have plenty of oomph while still retaining clarity. Light years worth of improvement over the stock fender single coils.

I have them with an Audere 4 band preamp in my Warwick Corvette fretless. Amazing upgrade. Everyone who has touched this bass just loves the tone. The audere seems to be quite transparent. If your bass sounds great acoustically than I would recommend this preamp.

Yep. An advanced search is easy to do.
