so i'm interested in buying a fender jazz V (USA) and the original single coils are gone, but it comes w/ barts and nords (1 set of each and i don't know the models). yeah, i know, and yes i did the search . just wondering how some of YOU would interpret the sound differences between these two brands and the originals and what exactly is occurring w/ humbuckers vs. single coils... Thanks!

alright... upon further study, i figured out the whole single coil/ humbucker process with regards to noise and phasing. but i'm still interested in opinions about barts and nords. i see lots of info on dimarzio's, seymor duncan's, etc., but less on the barts. Idears?

That's what I have installed on my Lakland Darryl Jones. Strong output, aggressive but articulate. I love Nordies.

Lots of people love Barts as well but they've always struck me as being kinda vanilla <yawn>
