Nordstrand NJ4 Set '70's style wind

We commissioned the folks at Nordstrand to replicate a vintage '70's Fender Jazz Bass' pickups and we were so happy with the results we are offering them here for sale. Very cool authentic top end!
Does anyone have these in their Jbasses? I'm looking for a 70's sound and I figure these would do the job just fine.

Brent from Steamco sent me this:

Hi Tom, we currently sell those for $169. They are meant to replicate the 70's jazz bass pickups which are known for the Sweet Sizzley top end (al a Marcus Miller) sound. These have that type of top end but are not as "skinny" as the originals and are more even string to string. They are sweeter and a little less clanky in the top end, and have a little less upper mid "grind" than regular NJ4's, while still retaining nice low end. All in all they are awesome sounding pickups. I have a 5 string set in my Nordy and my partner Kevin has a 4 string set in his Nordy-fied 71 Jazz bass and we both love them.
Now I don't know too many tone terms (ex: muddy, skinny, etc.) so can anyone decipher this or give me their experience with these?

Hah so my MIM is going to go from the average MIM to sounding just like Marcus. Maybe if I get them, I'll be able to play like him too?

No, you'll sound like you would sound if you could play his bass. Listen to a single note of his playing, or anyone else that uses a 70's Jazz Basses and this should be it...

I have them on my MIM 70's classic, which I got from forum member "Jordacr". They are great: not too harsh at the treble, transparent mids with a lot of punch from the low mids and a very round low end. Amazingly both single PUs sound full enough for slapping.
I'm really in trouble to decide on one position. When both are full up the sound is nearly like "active" electronics, kind of HiFi!
