Nordy NJ5S pups for JoBo 5er?

Sign in to disble this ad
Local dude has these pups for sale. I was thinking of replacing the stock Lakland pups in my Skyline Joe Osborne 5er. Anyone try this? When I was searching NJ5S just now I saw this reply below in another thread for a Warwick 5, might this be an issue for my JoBo 5 as well?:

( "Nordstrand NJ5s have 17.25 mm spacing between the magnetic cores. Even the angularly disposition of the PUs doesn't help." )

Thanks for any helpful replies here.

if the pups are not some custom order, standard string spacing fits any bass with 19mm (like the skyline lakland).

Make sure the lakland is not using "fender" size covers
