I recently installed this pickup in a P-bass and I'm getting a very well defined,wide dynamic range.It's cleaner than the DiMarzio model P,which I have in another bass,and is not as dark as the SD 1/4 pounder it replaced,IMO.I'm using it in a bass I use mostly in a Blues band,loaded with GHS precision flats.I'm lovin' it.

Here's a clip of my MIM P with the Charlie Christian pick up in it. Had it for a couple years now, and I really love it. Compared it to a Nordstrand I had, and the Novak Charlie Christian won out.
