NWOBHM/Thrash metal sound

I currently have a Fender Geddy Lee jazz with stock pups and these pups don't sound aggressive enough for me. I want a more Frank Bello-Cliff Burton-y sound. I was thinking maybe a SD SJB-3 Quarter Pound for the neck but I don't know what to go with for the bridge pup. Any recommendations?
