OBP-1 in 2010 American deluxe jazz bass

Sign in to disble this ad
I need a little help here:
I want to install the OBP-1 Aguilar preamp in my 2010 American deluxe jazz bass.
For those not familiar with this model, it’s a 4 knob configuration + 1 mini switch, as:
Master volume – pickup blend – stacked concentric (bass/treble) – stacked concentric (mid/passive tone) – mini switch (active/passive). I really hate the blend control for the pickups, what I want to do is use the bass in a regular jazz bass configuration in passive mode (volume-volume-tone) and then be able to engage the OBP-1 with the mini switch.
I want to keep the same 4 knob configuration as:
Volume #1 – Volume#2 – passive tone – stacked concentric (bass/treble from OBP-1) – mini switch (active/passive).
Aguilar does not propose such a wiring diagram in their website, the closest I could find is the one with switch / master volume / blend control.
From there, I tried to draw my own diagram, here it is bellow; can somebody with the knowledge could tell me if I got it right before I take my bass apart…?
Thank you in advance!
