OBP-1 pots???

hello

im building a bass guitar for a school project and when im finished i want to install the OBP-1 preamp. what volume bass and treble pots should i buy for it so i can get the best sound from it? i see pots that are 25k 50k 250k etc. and have no idea what they mean...

Look at the diagram on the website.

Off hand, I believe the EQ pots are 25k audio taper (Yes, audio, not linear.), and the volume(s) are 250k.

Personally, I'd use 500k volumes for more treble.

thanks, and does it matter what brand pots i get or what is a good brand of pots? im using a bartolini pickup if it helps
