| Original P-Bass Pickups in a MIA Standard?
I bought a set of these pickups and put them in an MIM Standard P-Bass as part of an upgrade effort. I've just been comparing the MIM to a 2011 MIA with stock pups and have been impressed by how less boomy the replacement pups are in the MIM. This may of course be down to the lesser density of the wood in the MIM - or not.
So I'm thinking about putting the pups in the MIA but before I do I just wanted to check who else has done this and if you're happy or not with the result. |
