output jack

Im getting start refinishing my Yamaha 270 and the one problem i had was the out put jack would not hold a cord it would slip out even when ran threw my strap i would like to get a new one but after taking the electronics apart i found a type of jack ive never seen so im trying to find out what todo get a different style that may fit the hole or try and find one..

What you're looking for is a Yamaha barrel jack, technically known as a QA209900.
Often referred to as a Switchcraft 1/4" Barrel Jack, Mono (EP-0151-000 ).

First I would try and bend the leads that connect the out put jack to the cable. Those are probably bent out and aren't holding the cable right

A little tough to do on a barrel jack............
