P bass knob

i have a MIA jazz bass. i dont like the vintage jazz bass knobs that come with all the standard jazz basses, they feel too cheap to me. i would rather replace them with chrome p bass knobs.. anyone done this before.. with they fit, are they too big to where they might scratch the control plate? thanks

They'll fit just fine.

p bass knobs have a little hex screw in them to clamp them onto the post. I've gotten them to even hang on to busted posts.

You can tighten it up so it'll sit up off the plate if you wish. I imagine it would look great.
