P bass pickup opinions - Duncan, Hanson, Delano?

I am flirting with the idea of a pickup swap in a P bass of mine. It is currently sporting a set of spB-3's. Basically what I was pondering was picking up a set of either the Hanson neo punch pickup, or the Delano pups with the 4 big poles.

I've seen quite a bit of good traffic on the Delano pickups, but not that many reviews on the Hansons.

And on top of that, would either really provide much of a benefit over the spB-3?

Can only say that I'm very satisfied with my Delano Al/M2 Jazz Bass HBs ...
Different bass and differnt type of PUs ...

I raised up in Germany in the 1970s/80s ...
So, there are DiMarzio, Rockinger, Schaller and Duesenberg PUs for me - or the Delanos as a German brand.
But that's just sentimental rubbish of an old man and no reason ...

I think you can go wrong with all and none of them ...
Every bass sounds a bit different and what's good for the first might be less good for the second bass. Also had this experience with strings! Same brand and excellent for the first but bad for the other bass ...

In the end: LET YOUR HEART DECIDE!
"Bought by brain" is not so good as "bought by heart" ...

+1 for Hanson. Never heard the P pickup, but I have a Lakland with stock Hansons. Perfect jazz tone, imo.

FYI, I went with the Hanson Neo Punch. Found one in the classifieds.
To my ear, it's less boomy that the SPB-3 that it replaced. It's still a modern sounding pickup, but it retains a little bit of the vintage tone, at least best I can tell.

It sounds really good fingerstyle and picked, with GSH Boomers.
