Pedulla Thunder -Jazz

A few shots of my pedulla thunderbolt with new nordy big singles. I picked up this bass a few weeks ago and played it with the stock bartolinis but didn't care for them. After searching around to find something that was more to my tastes (ie had more of a jazz bass sound).

The big singles are amazing. Great tonal character, very clear and punchy mids (exactly what this bass lacked) while retaining the lows that the barts had.

Very interesting. I was wondering how Nordys would sound in mine.

its like a night and day difference, but thats kind of an obvious statement when switching from dual coil to single coil. my pedulla is an older model with the passive type tone control, not the bass/treble controls like the newer ones so i couldn't get the punch i was used to.

the sound almost reminds me of my thumb, its got a very woody tone to it.
