Personal (in ear) Monitors

Hi all,

Do any of you have any experience with personal in-ear monitors?

What are the pitfalls of the systems? Which systems to stay away from, and why.

Any help here would be great.

I had the Shure system for awhile, just to monitor my vocals.
I only had them a few months and then sold the system.
To me they just did not feel right, comfort wise.
I have a mackie srm 150 on preorder right now.
I am hopeing that is a winner...........

My church bought them, so we have the Sennheiser G2 300 series transmitters, and I have a pair of Westone UM2's w/ custom molded tips running through our new Aviom system.

Works awesome for church w/ an ampless stage, especially since I'm next to the violin and viola and cancels out that racket, but live you'd be hard-pressed to get me away from a monitor.
