PFR-4's vs. IBZ DX's

i have recently been thinking about buying either an ibanez srx 390 which comes with PFR-4 music man pickups, or a sr300 which has a set of IBZ DX's (p/j). I was wondering if the p/j set on the sr300 would be able to compare at all to the mm style on the srx 390 since the srx is $50 more and i am a little pressed for money.
