in phase: parallel/series
Feel free to move if i'm not posting in the right forum.
So basically, i've got this Ibanez GaxB short scale model. And i've recently taken teh 3 way tonal charater switch out so it only has a volume wired to the pickup and to the jack ouput. I do still have sound, and i've encountered no problems at all.
But i'm now lacking tone and I wanted to do in-phase parallel and series wiring. (like a gibson ripper bass on the rotary switch: position 1; in-phase series, position 3; in-phase parallel)
1-Which seems like a better "switch" option: 2/3 way switch, a potentiometer, or a rotary (like the ripper bass). If there's another option, feel free to say.
2-how do i go about wiring the pickup in pahse parallel and series depending on the "switch" options in #1?
Enjoy the little things.
