Phasing issue?

I have a Epi EB-0 that I have been modding. I installed the neck pick up from my Gibson SG and routed the body to put a Jazz pick up at the bridge. I put a 3-way switch in it. The Jazz pick up is a neck because of the tighter string spacing. The problem I am having is with the switch in the center position and both volumes full it goes almost dead, no tone control. If I back off the bridge pick up to 8 or below it comes back but you can barely hear any bridge pick up. Switched to full bridge there isn't much volume. Running the neck pick up solo it sounds good. The Jazz pick up worked fine before I removed it from the bass it was in. This is how I have it wired. Any suggestions?

If the pickups are out of phase, try swapping the leads on one pickup.

That's what I was thinking. The Jazz has a black & white wire. I have the black to ground. I'll try hooking it to the pot & the white to ground.

That did it!
Thanks, It sounds real good for a bass that I have all of $80 and some spare parts in it. It'll make a nice back up for my Gibson

That's an interesting bass.
Do you have any soundclips?
