considering price, i want YOUR OPINION. i realise many people will say "it depends on what you"
considering i have no ways of hearing these being played i would like your opinion because it the most valid way to figure out what is best

Get a Dimarzio and have done with it. They are pretty cheap.

My Fender Deluxe P Bass Special is outfitted with EMGs. With active electronics, I'm pretty happy with the sound. Two buds who have played it have been keen on it too.
