Hi I have a SX P bass which I play around home BBQ,s etc nothing to serious.
I have thought about changing the pickups , I play 80,s music ie Fleetwood mac , Eagles & some RHCP Green day.
I have got in mind
1 S & D SPB-3 1/4 pounders
2 Dimarzio DP 127 split rails
3 a set out of a 80,s Fender CIJ bass
4 Dimarzio DP 122
5 Leave the SX pups
6 Any thing else in these price range

Since option six costs zero, I not sure what your price range is. I dropped a Nordstrand NP4 in a cheap P that I liked the feel of, and *BAM* sonic monster.
