Pickup for 6 string bass
 

I really dig the music man tone, but like most people I can't afford a Bongo 6. What pickups could i get that will have a nice punchy tone good enough to cut through a metal band's mix? I have a schecter stiletto studio 6.
Also sidenote: is it possible to install pickups larger than the original slots?
