Hi

What are the different variables in pickup design and how does each one affect the sound?

I did not call you names as I answered your question. My answer, however, was entirely appropriate to your query. People have spent their professional lives trying to explicate this simple issue. For electric bass, pickup design is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. That's all I meant to say, and to say it in two digits, the implication being that any serious answer you might get is about as useful.

It's so boring to have to spell it out. I much prefer the literary allusion.

Edit: I forgot to add that I checked out your bands' myspaces and I really enjoyed what you are doing, musically.

Calling you snarty bartfast isn't calling you a name it's making reference to the reference you've used and showing feigned indignation.

Does anybody around here have a sense of humour?
