pickup help

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought a used MIM Fender jazz bass and decided to get a set of new pickups I want to get a good set but cant decide which to get I think I have it narrowed down to two. I cant decide between the aguilar j pickups and the fender 60's custom j pickups. If you have an opinion about them please post and if you have another reccomendation also post.

P.S. I have a passive bass.

Put the Fenders in the Fender. My two cents.

Steward MacDonald Golden Age pickups Awesome for the money I put them in my $1500,00 P bass they also have them for a J bass. I suggest you just check them out on the net for yourself. But is like the Blimp said what tone are you going for, the Golden Age are a very Vintage Fender sound.

the fender custom shops work for me, but i like having a vintage tone that isn't really all that bright or modern
