Question Pickup hum on Yamaha TRBII-6

Sign in to disble this ad
These are some pix of my Yamaha TRBII-6, which I got an incredible deal on last summer from GC for $325. This bass plays and sounds great, I am enjoying it a lot. The only issue is it does have a little more pickup hum than my other active basses, particularly if I face the amp or turn the pickup blend more towards the middle or bidge pickup. Anyone have the same experience with these Yamaha pickups, or is it possible it needs sheilding? I love the bass, I'd really like to get rid of the hum if possible. THX
